How to use facial selection to find the speech in TVU Search

Use the TVU Search facial selection feature to locate and display all of the corresponding transcribed text in the Speech recognition panel for a selected video clip.

To find speech using the facial selection feature:

  1. Select a video clip from the timeline.
  2. In the facial detection panel, select the facial detection thumbnail for a known person.
  3. The name of the person chosen and frequency of detected speech displays below the thumbnail.
  4. Each speech entry is indicated as a yellow marker in the bar.
  5. Click the yellow marker to view the speech entry. The transcribed text displays in yellow for each entry in the speech recognition panel.
  6. Use the forward and back icons to jump to each entry.
