Catholic Parade Shared Live on Facebook Using TVU
Philippine public information ministry used TVU Networks to capture, produce and share the live stream of an annual Catholic festival.
MPIM had been known in the Philippines for its outstanding and professional live coverage of church masses and parish events. However, the ministry added that the integration of TVU brought its coverage to a new level.

Every January, the Municipality of San Mateo in the province of Rizal, Philippines participates in a festival honoring Santo Niño de Cebu. Known as the Feast of Sto. Niño, the January 19, 2020 celebration included a parade through the streets of the town.
The Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Aranzazu (DSPNSDA) Media and Public Information Ministry (MPIM) worked together on the live stream by capturing video along the parade route using the TVU Anywhere app and using TVU Producer for production. The video was shared on the Facebook page of the town’s Catholic church, the Diocesan & Parish of Nuestra Señora de Aranzazu.
MPIM inserted live footage from the parade passing through different streets in the town with the help of TVU. The TVU Anywhere app allowed the mobile devices of their reporters on the street to be connected and set up by just scanning a QR code using their mobile phones. Even being several kilometers away from the main parade coverage, the reporters were able to stream live from their location while also reporting from their location.
TVU Producer was one of the production tools used to provide additional content sources to the live stream and to share the stream on the church’s Facebook page.
